TUMMY ACHE
Lyrics
Sleep
I wish I could sleep
But I've got a tummy ache
So I really can't sleep

Dream
I wish I could dream
But I've got a tummy ache
So I really can't dream

I had too much at dinner
Now I must pay
I started to hurt when I was having dessert
But I ate it all anyway

When you eat
More than you should
You end up with a tummy ache
And you don't feel so good

Next time I will listen
To the voice inside my head
For there's such a thing as being a little
Too well-fed

When you eat
More than you should
You end up with a tummy ache
A real bad tummy ache
A terrible tummy ache
And you don't feel so good

Sleep
I wish I could sleep
But I've got a tummy ache
So I really can't sleep

Dream
I wish I could dream
But I've got a tummy ache
So I really can't dream

Long Song Description:
Story Behind the Song:
I'd been having pains for awhile. On one night, I thought, 'I'll try to write about it for my own relief,' and this is what I got. I felt better afterwards, but sometime later, the pain came back. I woke up my wife and said I need to go to the hospital, I thought I was having a heart attack. Well, it wasn't a heart attack, but it was the gall bladder and it had to be removed! Happy to say, I haven't had any problems since.
